Edge Types, Profiles, Specifications and Standard Sizes

 

1. Plain Cut

Sizes: These do not require special pattern bases, so in principle can be made any size.

Plain Cut (up to 1/4" depth)

Plain Cut Specifications

• R - text, border or flat motif relief  |  1/16" (1.5mm)
• D - plaque depth (varies according to plaque size)  |  1/8" to 1/4" (3mm to 6mm)

2. Plain Bevel

Sizes: These do not require special pattern bases, so in principle can be made any size.
The bevel can be painted or linished (polished), but cannot be textured.

Plain Bevel Specifications

• R - text, border or flat motif relief  |  1/16" (1.5mm)
• D - plaque depth (varies according to plaque size)  |  1/8" to 1/4" (3mm to 6mm)
• BW - bevel width (approx. equal to plaque depth)  |  1/8" to 1/4" (3mm to 6mm)

3. Straight Edge

Hollow backed plaques/markers that require special pattern bases.
Sizes: refer section 5 below.

• R - text, border or flat motif relief  |  1/16" (1.5mm)
• D - plaque depth  |  19/32" (15mm)

 

* note that several sizes of lower profile straight edge plaques are available.

4. Elite Bevel, Rock Edge, Wood Edge

Hollow backed plaques/markers that require special pattern bases.
All three types have the same profiles according to plaque size, and the bevel angle is 15°.
Please note that the Elite Bevel is only available as painted.
